Where it started
Vunaya was born out of a return — to the handloom traditions of Rajasthan, to the block prints and bandhani work that generations of artisans have carried forward, and to the idea that ethnic wear doesn't have to mean either costume-heavy or generic.
We wanted to build something in between: pieces rooted in heritage textiles, but cut and styled for how women actually dress today — for work, for gatherings, for everyday.

We work with block print, bandhani, and handloom techniques, treated as everyday fabric, not occasion-only wear.
Made to be worn, not just admired.
Every silhouette is tested for how it actually moves, fits, and holds up, comfort isn't an afterthought.
